Scrappiness from Sedona

Last weekend there were a few of us that went to a scrapbook retreat in Sedona, Arizona. The view there was spectacular and a lot of scrappiness went on. There were 11 of us there and all together we completed over 150 pages. Here are a few of mine.

I will share more later but things have been really crazy at work so I haven't had much time to post anything and we are off today to go to Las Vegas for our bowling sweepstakes and the Nascar race. I will try to post more pictures when I get back.

We went to lunch and I gave her a new tote to take to Sedona and the we celebrated again this past weekend in Sedona. But today is her birthday and I hope that she has a great day! It is also Jenn Reeve's birthday and she was in Sedona with us and celebrated her's with us also. Happy Birthday to you both...

Another Weekend Gone By

Another weekend has almost come to an end. I have gotten a lot accomplished, but again no scrapping. I guess I am saving it all for the trip to Sedona. Liz is coming Wednesday night to spend the night and Karen will be arriving before 6 on Thursday morning. We will be off and the plan is to meet up with Jenn and Teresa at the Scrapbook Barn around noon in Gilbert, AZ and then lunch at Serranos. We are not sure who else will be able to join us, but we are looking forward to the shopping and lunch. Then we will be off to Scrapbooks Etc., one of our favorite stores and a trim shop across the street. We hope to be able to hit Hobby Lobby while we are out also. We are then hooking up with Natalie to go to a tutorial class on the Design program for our Cricut. Sounds like a fun packed day.

Friday morning we will probably meet up with everyone for breakfast and then venture off to Sedona. We will be in Seonda for the weekend for a retreat and hopefully lots of scrapping.

I will try to pop in here again before we leave, but I have lots to get done here at home along with another crazy busy week at work.

It's Almost the Weekend!

I am soooo looking forward to this weekend. It has been crazy busy at work and I have been putting in lots of long hours. I thought I was going to have to work most of the weekend, but it is looking like things are coming together and I might just get to enjoy the 3 days off.

I am hoping to get together with Liz at some point on Saturday. We are getting ready for our trip to Sedona next week and I have a few items that I need to get to her just in case she wants to pack them away and take along.

Sunday we are going to a Daytona party to celebrate the beginning of the Nascar season. It should be lots of fun.

Monday will hopefully be a day to get everything packed for the Sedona trip. I am really excited about this trip and looking forward to lots of scrapping. I hope to have lots to post at the end of the trip.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Andy's Surgery

My son Andy had knee surgery on Tuesday. They were able to go in and clean things up and he is doing very well. He has been up walking all around, driving and ready to get back to everything he enjoys. He received this card in the mail today from my cousin Linda. She has been making cards for about a year now and does a fantastic job. All of her cards are so creative. I just love this one!

January Card Swap Card

Here is the card that I made for the January card swap over at Scrappin Coast 2 Coast. It was to be black and white with a spot of color. This card was made with the cuddlebug embossing folders. I just love those and need to start using them more. February's card swap is to make something with "bling". Sign-ups are open until February 6th, so if you would like to join in, come on over and sign up.

Final Challenge for January

Just under the wire I completed this card for April's sewing challenge over at ScrappinCoast2Coast. I was hoping to get more done in January, but hopefully February will be a better month for scrapping.
