Birthday Card using Unscripted #205 Sketch

This week I was checking out the sketch over at unscripted sketches and decided to try out a sizzix die that I bought sometime ago and have not ever used.  It is more like ric-rac than chevrons, but I think that it did the job.  This is the sketch:

And this is what I did with it. I was using this paper that my daughter bought for me when the crafty cash mob was up at Treasured Memories in Oak Park a few weeks ago.  I am trying to stock up on my birthday cards and thought that this sketch was perfect for that.

Supplies used:

Little Yellow Bicycle - just because 6x6 paper pad
Sizzix decorative strips die
Stampin' Up scalloped circle punch
Creative Memories circle cutter
Hero Arts Clear Design Birthday Messages
Memento Tuxedo Black ink

The ric rac is a perfect interpretation of the sketch! I love how the bright color pops on that sweet patterned paper! Thank you so much for choosing our Unscripted Sketch to showcase your creative talent :)
