Hiatus is Over...

I can't believe that it has been 6 months since I last blogged. A lot has gone on in the past 6 months as we did a lot of cleaning up at the house and gave the house a facelift and a new backyard. I will post a few pictures very soon. Needless to say I have only scrapped a few times in the past 6 months, but I am ready to get going once again. I am off to Roughley Manor this weekend with Kristi and the girls from Scrappin In The Hills. I am very excited about it and have lots of pictures packed ready to scrap. Hopefully I will have lots to share over the next few weeks.

Here is a layout from Tom's 94th birthday in October 2010, that I scrapped one year ago this past weekend while at the Sisterhood Retreat in Fullerton and then came home to a phone call that he had cancer and we were on our way up to Redding to go help him. He only lasted two months but we were able to spend some quality time with him and were able to help him through his battle. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think about him and remember all the joy that he brought to our lives.

Thanks for checking in and I will be back soon to share some more creations!

Debbie!!! I'm so glad I checked blogs tonight! I've missed you! I almost called you the other day to see how you're doing! I absolutely love this layout! It's so beautiful! I can't remember the last time I scrapped something for myself. It sounds like you've been going to a lot of retreats. That's so awesome! Again, I'm super jealous! Can't wait to see all the improvements you've made on your house! So fun!

Natalie, I have missed being in touch with you! We have been attending some retreats that are right here in town but the one this weekend is a couple hours away. I miss our trips to AZ to scrap, we will have to try to put something together soon.
