This is a card that I made with one of the MS deep cut border punches that I got from my DD Kristi. I stole away a few minutes to try it out in the midst of all of the work in the kitchen. Hopefully I can get a little more scapping in over the next couple of days.

Coming Along
The kitchen is starting to come along. They actually started installing the cabinets today and have a couple more days of work, but it is starting to look more and more like a reality.
This is a view of the cabinet with the granite on it.

Here is a picture of the new window... it still isn't finished with all of the trim and everything, but it is in.

Trying to Get My Mojo Back

Demolition has started
As you can see the demolition has started on our kitchen. We have the one side torn out and Barry is starting to do some electrical work prior to the new cabinets coming in. We have ordered a new garden window and it is scheduled for delivery on the 21st of January, therefore, they will probably start the installation of everything around the 25th.
During the midst of getting everything out of the kitchen, I still tried to get a couple of cards done this week and here is what I got done:
I tried my hand at crocheting flowers and this is one that I did. I think that I would like to find another pattern to try out, but for now this one is working. I also tried using the little alphabet stickers for the first time and like how those turned out as well.
I also tried using the sewing machine on a card again. This is what I did.

It's a New Year
Happy New Year 2010!!
I can't believe that we are in a new year already, where did 2009 go? I'm not sure where it went, but I can't say that I am sad to see it go. Let's hope for a healthier year for the Lacy household in 2010.
I have been very bad about updating my blog and participating in challenges, but hope to do much better in 2010. We are hosting an Anniversary Crop over at Scrappin Coast 2 Coast this month. Hopefully you can stop by and join in the celebration.
