Happy Day After Christmas
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We had a very enjoyable day spending time with family and having a very yummy Christmas dinner. It is hard to believe that it is already over, it is a very hectic time of the year, but very enjoyable at the same time. I haven't done any scrapping for a couple of weeks but now that Christmas is behind us I hope to be able to get a few projects done. Have a great week and hope to be back before the year is over.

Hippity Hop Blog Hop
Sassy Lil' Sketches is involved in the Hippity Hop Blog Hop starting today November 12th and going through November 14th. The hops starts at Sassy Lil' Sketches! You'll need to visit each of the blogs to complete your layout! You will get an element at each of the 5 blogs. Using the elements create a layout or card and post it to all 5 blogs for a chance to win up to 5 times. The five blogs in the Hop are: Sassy Lil' Sketches, Scrap Fit, Crop Suey, Scrap Tiffany, and Cuttlebug Spot.
Here is the layout that I did for the Hop. I hope that you will join in and have a chance to win.
My layout is created with the Fancy Pants It's Your Day collection. I also used Teresa Collins Celebrate Stamp set to make my banner, bazzill card stock and Just the Edge. I embossed my Just the edge pieces with my cuttlebug embossing folder, inked the edges of everything with my Chestnut Roan cats eye and added the felt flowers from our sponsor at Sassy Lil' Sketches, Wendy Hammer Designs.
I will have a drawing at the end of the hop for an RAK. All you have to do is leave a comment here on my blog and become a follower (if you are not already). Thanks for looking and I hope you have fun on the Hop. Now head on over to Sassy Lil' Sketches so you can get started on your layout.

A Couple of Layouts from the Retreat
Here are a couple pages I did this weekend with the pictures from the 4th of July. We were sitting out in the front yard. Kristi came by and Andy decided to have a few friends over and play some beer pong. We barbequed hamburgers and they all enjoyed the food and the beer.
It was fun doing these pages. I used a CTMH paper paper pack and cut out the title and fireworks with my Cricut and then glued the bling onto the fireworks.

WOW What a Weekend
I have been gone all weekend for a 3-day crop with Sisterhood of Scrapbooking. I got there at noon on Friday and scrapped until 2:00 Friday night. We then got up and started going about 7:30 Saturday morning. Unfortunately I had to leave in the middle of the day for a few hours to go to a Memorial service. But got back to scrapping about 3:30 and with a break for dinner, scrapped until 4:00 am. Back up and moving about 8:30 this morning and scrapped, cleaned up, packed and visited until 3:00 this afternoon. Needless to say I am very tired right now but I do want to share a card with you that I made last night. This is from a sketch at Sassy Lil' Sketches for their Card Crazy contest that they are having all month. They will be posting a new sketch each Monday and you have until October 31st to post your entries for a chance at the prize from CupCards {To Go}. Be sure to head over to Sassy Lil' Sketches to check it out.
Here is my card for Week 1 Sketch:
This card is made with Echo Park Printed Paper, Kaisercraft Rubon and ribbon from my stash.
I will try to come back later this week with some other items that I did this weekend.

Catch Up Time...
Well, it seems like it has been a while since I was on here and a lot has been going on. Here is the card that I made for Sarah for her birthday and didn't get back to post it.
This card was made with Bazzil CS, Echo Park PP, Ric Rac from my stash, MFT banner die cut and fonts from my Cricut.
Here is a little catch up on what has been going on...
I have been spending time on the weekends going to Sarah's soccer games.
Michelle and her family came to Southern California to go to Disneyland and we were able to meet up with them and have dinner at Red Robin
And of course we had to take a cousins picture with Kristi, Michelle and Andy with a bonus of Lincoln.
Last weekend we had a birthday party for Kristi to celebrate her 30th birthday...
Her birthday was actually on Wednesday and to celebrate it a group of us (Debbie (me), Becky, Robyn, Joyce, Erin, Jennifer, Andy, and of course Kristi) went to see The Price is Right. Here is the picture we had taken.
We had a great time but were exhausted at the end of the day. Kristi, Erin, Jennifer and Andy went up Tuesday night and got in line at 11:30 (2nd in line) and then Becky, Joyce, Robyn and I went up at 4 am and joined them. We were in the different areas of the studio from 8 am until we left there at 6 pm. So needless to say that by the time we got home at about 8:30 we were all pretty tired. I almost forgot to mention that we saw two tapings. The first show will air November 4th and you should see a lot of us since we were sitting in the front row. The second show will air December 6th and it had a guest star and you might just see more of us, or at least one of us...
Thanks for stopping by and I will try not to stay away so long next time.

Thanks for looking and I will hopefully be back to post a few more cards tonight or tomorrow...

Faux Stitching
This is a layout that I did for a challenge over at Scrappin Coast 2 Coast. The challenge is to do faux stitching somewhere on your layout or card. I cut a journal box with a Sizzix Tim Holtz Die and did faux stitching around it. I have to say that it is so much easier than trying to do it on the sewing machine.
The products that I used on this layout were: K&Co Lemon Drop PP, CM CS, and MS Punch
Thanks for looking.

Congrats!
Today is the first day of my cousin Becky's retirement. This is a card that I made for my mom to send to her. I'm sure that she is enjoying it today, but it probably hasn't really sunk in.
This card was made from the Echo Park - Life is Good Line. I also used the Now & Always stamp set from Ippity, and a SOLO stamp, Memento ink, MS punch, Ribbon from Fabric Barn and Best Creations 3D foam. It was a fun card to make and I like the way it turned out.

Goodbye Scrappin In The Hills
It was so sad to say goodbye at my LSS tonight. They are closing their doors for the last time tonight. I spent last night and today at a crop at their store and it was very difficult. I had a few bumps in the road to limit my time there and a real lack of mojo. I did manage to finish two cards I needed to make and will share them this week when I get a picture taken. My mom and I both are sending them to my cousin who is retiring this week, so I was glad to get those done. I'm not sure when I will be going back out to scrap, but hope to get going here at home again.
Have a great week everyone!

ScrapFit's WO #24 "Freestyle Relay"
These are two pages I did this weekend for the WO #24 over at ScrapFit. The challenge was to lift a layout by one of the designers but change something. I chose Laura Jean's Things are better in 2's. She actually did 2 6x12 layouts so when they are put together it looks like one.

It's been a while...
Wow, I have been bad about getting on here to post. Let's catch up a little. We had a wonderful time at the Sugarland concert, they were even better than they were at stateline. Barry did a great job of picking out our tickets and he packed a nice picnic dinner for us to eat in the parking lot once we got up there. We stayed at a Days Inn in Hollywood so we didn't have to drive far after the concert. Barry read that we couldn't take cameras in so all I had was my little pocket camera so I didn't get too good of pictures. This is a picture of the stage from our seats.
We took our time about getting up the next morning and then took a scenic drive through Hollywood and went to Patrick's Roadhouse on Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica to have brunch. Barry had seen it on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and wanted to go check it out. It was really fun to check it out and the food was great.
On Sunday the 11th Donna (my sister), Lauren and Emily (my nieces) all came to visit from Colorado. They were here for a week so I was off work spending time with them all week. We spent that Monday at the hospital while my mom had a procedure done and then spent the rest of the week at her house playing games and visiting.
Then I had to go back to work for four days. I was off last Friday and took mom to a couple of her doctor appointments and out to lunch with Andy. After we had lunch I took her home and then headed to the Holiday Inn in Fullerton for the Sisterhood of Scrapping Retreat. I had a great time and met a lot of new people and got a little bit of scrapping done. I didn't get as much as I would have liked to, but I did complete 10 pages and a couple of cards. I will try to get pictures this week of some of the layouts and share them with you. The cards are for my Sassy Lil Sketches DT work, so you have to wait for the reveal days to see those, but hopefully I will have time to get a few more cards made this week and I will share those.
So, I guess that catches you up on what I have been up to and I will try not to wait so long to catch up.
BTW, here is the card that I made at the Copic's class that I took the first part of the month.
