Happy Birthday my Friend

It's time for another challenge at Cards in Envy.  Best of Friends is the challenge.  I have chosen to make a card for my friend using washi tape and a label cut with a spellbinder.  I hope that you will head over to the Cards in Envy blog and check out all of the inspiration by the other design team members and then join in on the challenge.    You have until 5:00 pm on Sunday, August 31st to join in.

Toes in the Sand

There is a new challenge up at Cards in Envy today ~ Toes in the Sand, a Beach card.  When I heard Toes in the Sand was the theme, my first thought was flip flops.  I had gotten a new die and stamp set from Stamps of Life and I figured this was the perfect project to try them out on.  I stamped my flip flops and cut them out.  I also used this sticker that I thought would fit this challenge perfectly.

I hope that you will head over to the Cards in Envy blog to see what all of the designers have created to help inspire you.  Remember, all cards are A2 size (4.25" x 5.5") and need to be relatively flat to fit in an envelope and can be mailed for first class postage.  This challenge ends at 6:00 pm cst on August 17th.
