Any WITCH Way You Can

A new challenge is up at Cards in Envy today and we're excited for this challenge as it celebrates Halloween!  For the rest of October  we want to see cards that fit the theme of "Any WITCH way you can!"  So your cards for this challenge need to have a witch or witches on it or at least some part of a witch such as a witch hat, witch shoes etc.  Your card can be scary or cute--whichever you like.  Just remember it must be an A2 card ONLY (4.25" x 5.5") and flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing.

The new challenge is up over at Cards in Envy, enTWINEd!  What the heck does that mean?  

Any A2 card is eligible as long as it has TWINE on it! Plus it must be flat enough to fit

 in an envy for mailing.

School Colors at Cards in Envy

The new challenge is up over at Cards in Envy, School Colors.  This is a color challenge and you chose the colors! Create an A2 (4.5" x 5.5") card that is flat enough to fit in an envy using at least TWO school colors.  My Junior High School and High School that I went to was Red, Black and White.  This is the card that I made using these colors.

You have until 6:00 pm CST on Sunday, September 14 to enter your cards in this challenge.  I hope you will join in.

Happy Birthday my Friend

Toes in the Sand

There is a new challenge up at Cards in Envy today ~ Toes in the Sand, a Beach card.  When I heard Toes in the Sand was the theme, my first thought was flip flops.  I had gotten a new die and stamp set from Stamps of Life and I figured this was the perfect project to try them out on.  I stamped my flip flops and cut them out.  I also used this sticker that I thought would fit this challenge perfectly.

Stars and Stripes ~ Happy Birthday

Today's challenge over at Cards in Envy is to make a card with stars and stripes.  My card for this challenge is a birthday card made with some Authentique Anchored.  I used a Stampin Up stamp and punches for my sentiment. I also added some enamel dots from MME.

Fun in the Sun

Winged Things

Today there is a new challenge up at Cards in Envy.  This challenge is to use "winged things" this can be anything with wings.  I chose to use a butterfly on my card.  Here is a card I made using a kit from Chiaki Haverstick.  

 

 

Here are a few reminders about the challenge requirements:

1. No square cards.  All cards entered must be A2 size (4.25" x 5.5")
2. No lumpy, bumpy cards.  Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4")
3. Limit entries to 3 per challenge.
4. No Back Linking.  Cards must be posted to your blog or online album during the challenge dates.  If it was posted online BEFORE the beginning of our challenge, it cannot be linked.

April Showers, a new challenge up at Cards in Envy today.  I used a new Stampin Up stamp that I just got on this card.  When I saw the rain coming out of the cloud, I knew that this was the image that I was going to use.  I also love this Sweet Sorbet paper from Stampin Up.  I hope that you will head over to Cards in Envy and join in on this challenge.

Anything Goes at Cards in Envy

Today's challenge at Cards in Envy is Anything Goes with an A2 card ...  Remember this means it still needs to be 4.25" x 5.5" that fits in an envelope and requires no extra postage.

 

This is the card that I did for this challenge.  It is made with Stampin Up Fresh Prints dsp, Crumb Cake and Real Red cardstock, Blossom, Pansy and Scalloped circle punches.  Tiny Tiny Wishes stamp, Real Red and Crumb Cake ink. I also used some bling from my stash.

 

Can I just say that I LOVE this Fresh Prints paper...  You will be seeing many more creations from me made with this paper.

Reveal Time at Turtle Soup

It is reveal day over at Turtle Soup and here is the Sketch that Bev gave us to work with.

This is my layout that I did for this sketch.

This was a picture taken when we stopped to kill a little bit of time before going to Devon and Scott's wedding.  I loved the way this came together using the MME Chalk paper line.  I thought this Prima flower in the corner was perfect with this paper.  Head on over to the Turtle Soup and see what the other design team member did with this sketch and let's see what you can come up with.

Think Green

I can't believe that it is March already and time for a new challenge over at Cards in Envy.  This week's challenge is Think Green.  Make a card that is primarily green.  Here is the card that I made.

I was pleased with the way that this card turned out.  I used SU Floral District DSP, Canvas Corp Green and Ivory Swirl, and Creative Imaginations Narratives.  I punched my shapes with the SU Curly Label Punch and laid them out on my card front.  I then decided to use a purple ribbon to bring out the purple in the Floral District paper.  I love the way it turned out.
