Count your rainbows...

Another one of the card challenges over at My Sketch World this month was Lisa's Recipe Challenge.

Here is the card that I made for this:

I started this card off with Jillibean Soup - Soup Staples Orange Sugar and Bazzill cardstock.

The recipe for this card was:

Distressing of some sort - I used Tim Holtz distresser around the cardstock sticker and Prima distressing ink around the bazzill cardstock and the cardstock sticker.

A Stamp - I used a Studio G decorative corner stamp.

Washi Tape - I used My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing decorative tape.

A rainbow for inspiration - I used the rainbow cardstock sticker from BoBunny.

This was a fun recipe and I like the way my card turned out.  I also really like the sentiment on the sticker.

Count your rainbows...

not your thunderstorms.

MSW Photo Inspiration Challenge

Jan over at My Sketch World had a challenge going this month based on a photo inspiration.  I used the colors in the photo and came up with this card.

For this card I used Bazzill cardstock, Basic Grey - Hello Luscious patterned paper, Bazzill Happy Birthday rub-on and lace trim, flowers and a brad from my stash.  I also used a sketch of Lucy's that I had printed out last May and had never used it.

Thanks for stopping by and looking.

More from Colorado

These were a few more of the pictures from our trip to Colorado and one of the kits that I picked up at the Expo from Embellish It.

Memories of Colorado

In going through some older photos, I found these pictures from the last trip to Colorado with my dad in 2007.  I thought that the pictures went well with this Authentique paper that I have also had for a couple years.  So here's to using up some of my older supplies.  I used the Authentique - Carefree Collection (Calm, Jovial, Radiant, Easy Going), Tim Holtz Distress Ink (brushed corduroy), WeR Memory Keepers Lucky 8 Punch and Glossy Accents, and of course one of Lucy's Sketches from the Sketch-A-Thon.

Thanks for stopping by.

Lucky

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  I thought that this was the perfect layout to share today.  I used a kit from Yvonne Nash.  When I was at the retreat the end of January, Yvonne was there with some of her kits for sale and she showed me this kit.  I thought it would be just perfect for the pictures that I wanted to scrap from Barry's birthday in 2011 when we went to Patrick's Road House in Santa Monica.

The paper that Yvonne used was from Best Creation and I love the way she included the bling to dress it up.
